IT Security Specialist – Cyber Security

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an IT Security Specialist for a technology-intensive company operating in cyber and information security. The role is located in an organization that works with security solutions for both public and private organizations, including critical societal environments.

The position offers a developing and responsible role where you will work broadly with IT security and contribute to preventing cyber threats in complex technical environments.

Responsibilities

In the role of IT Security Specialist, you will work on analyzing, implementing, and further developing IT security solutions tailored to the clients' operations and requirements. You will be involved in the entire solution and development process – from needs analysis and requirements specification to implementation, verification, and approval for operation.

The work is conducted in project form and includes both technical execution and consulting regarding security architecture and working methods.

Examples of tasks:

• Work with IT security in technically advanced and security-critical environments

• Proactively identify and prevent cyber threats

• Implement and configure IT security solutions in both cloud and on-prem environments

• Participate in requirements analysis, design, project planning, and technical implementation

• Contribute to verification, testing, and approval of systems prior to operation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of practical experience working with IT systems from a security perspective and who wants to continue developing within cyber and information security.

You should have:

• At least three years of relevant work experience

• Experience working with IT systems in cloud and/or on-prem environments

• Good knowledge of Linux and basic knowledge of Windows

• Broad technical competence and interest in IT security

• Good analytical skills and a structured working method

• Ability to work both independently and in teams

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience working in a security-protected or security-sensitive environment

• Knowledge of regulations and requirements related to, for example, authorities or defense-related activities

• Certifications in IT or information security

• Knowledge of secure system development, e.g., S-SDLC, DevSecOps, or code review from a security perspective

The position involves work that requires an approved security clearance with a background check.
